Baked Beans

 Ingredients

  • 2 x 400g tins of cannellini beans - drained and rinsed
  • 1 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablesppon mustard powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Method

Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and mix well.
Cook on low for 12 hours.
Serve.

Notes:

If the sauce does not thicken, add 1 to 3 tablespoons of cornflour and cook a futher 30 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.
