Ingredients
340g grated cheese
1 can evaporated milk
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons hot sauce - optional
Method
Mix cheese and cornstarch together and place in a pot over medium heat. Add evaporated milk. Stir until cheese is melted.
Add flavour.
Serve warm.
Optional flavour:
2 tablespoons canned jalapenos chopped, or chopped green chiles
1 teaspoon chili powder you could also use cumin if you prefer that taste
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg optional.
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Slow cooker:
Set slow cooker to medium. Add all ingredients and stir occasionally. Serve in cooker on warm setting.
